Antropóloga especialista en la relación entre los seres humanos y la naturaleza, con énfasis en los aspectos socioculturales, políticos y espaciales del medio ambiente. Fue académica de la Universidad Austral de Chile, la Universidad Católica de Temuco y es investigadora postdoctoral de la Universidad de Copenhague. También, es autora de artículos y capítulos de libros acerca del despojo y el sustento rural, la ecología política de tierras indígenas en Paraguay, la historia y memoria política, y los métodos etnográficos reflexivos y feministas. Actualmente, se dedica a investigar las prácticas alimentarias Lafkenche, con una etnografía sensorial y participativa del kollof (cochayuyo) y su comercialización en la Araucanía. Asimismo, trabaja en el rol político de los incendios, desde la mirada de la agricultura certificada en la Amazonía, Mato Grosso, Brasil.

Anthropologist specializing in the relationship between humans and nature, with an emphasis on the sociocultural, political, and spatial aspects of the environment. She was an academic at the Universidad Austral de Chile and the Universidad Católica de Temuco and is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Copenhagen. She is also the author of articles and book chapters on dispossession and rural livelihoods, the political ecology of indigenous lands in Paraguay, history and political memory, and reflexive and feminist ethnographic methods. She is currently researching Lafkenche food practices, with a sensory and participatory ethnography of kollof (cochayuyo) and its commercialization in Araucanía. She also works on the political role of fires, from the perspective of certified agriculture in the Amazon, Mato Grosso, Brazil.
